Z1000ST

Off to have a look at an old mates Z1000ST this weekend. He did a lovely conversion on it about 14 years ago, fitting A1 bodywork to it and everything that required so being epoxy coated. It's still in pretty good condition apparently but wife & baby have steered him to allow me first refusal.
Anything in particular I should look out for ?
On the Saxon front, i'm still waiting for my DVLA approved dating letter from the VJMC in order to register the damn thing.... At this rate it'll have taken longer to register it that in took to restore it !
I'm looking forward to seeing Rod fron CMM wind it up
