Hi all,have made some progress since my last post.over xmas got the engine out and barrels off ,won a new swing arm off flea bay which I think will suit the bike.
not sure of the make ? maybe a metchamex? will probably get it powder coated in the long run as the existing chrome isnt great and I think it would suit the bike better! ,was unable to remove the rotor despite my best efforts so Debbens whipped it off and discovered that the starter clutch body was loose as the 3 bolts had come loose and the threads were badly worn!,the crank is now there too being pulled apart and checked out and should be back in a few weeks all being well,while thats being done the frame is being powder coated ,am dropping it off tomorrow having finally ground off the rear indicator hangers which i dont like.[img][img]http://i1378.photobucket.com/albums/ah120/nohope37/crankcases%20002_zpsycsvz7aj.jpg[/img][/img]
Spacers for the swing arm are being made up ,just need to source a rear disc and me gearbox bits ,not sure what caliper ill be using yet tho.[img][img]http://i1378.photobucket.com/albums/ah120/nohope37/crankcases%20003_zpsvwv9mw88.jpg[/img][/img]
so its all ticking along ,not rushing it but just doing a bit whenever I get chance and the shed's not too artic! cheers
