Saxon Turbo nears completion with new pics

#1 PostAuthor: Big Fluff » Fri Dec 28, 2007 3:19 pm

I'm stuffed full of flu at the moment and it's a right pain as I want this finished. A couple more day will see it through.
Yes I know the fairing screen's on the piss and the seat upholstry needs glueing etc.... but like I say, just a few more days and it's ready for the show in Feb.
Hope you like it, thanks.
BF. :??

Dunno' about the night nurse Piggy.... I'd rather have a shit load of 'Old Engine Oil' (6.2%) down at me old local, that'd sort me out :??

Not sorted the wheel 'pinch' yet, I'll have another look when I can concentrate a bit better! It's all a bit close at the back anyway now i've fitted the chunky 530 chain conversion.
Things to do are fit the headlamps & tailight, bleed the brakes, mount the turbo heatshield, fit the new bigger bore fuel taps, then just a good check over everything.
I'm now off to France for a couple of days and will finish it off on Tuesday so I'll add more pics and/or shout for help during fettling.
I still have to get it registered yet as it's never been on the road in it's life! Still, I have the original bill of sale so an age related plate will be issued.

Thanks all... Will

Awesome looking machine. The pipe that comes from the turbo, which looks big enough to lose small children in ... does it have any baffles or is it to be mind numbingly LOUD If so, I think you should make an MP3 and post it on here, so those of us with PCs plugged into hifi amps can appreciate it properly :D
