GPZ1100B2 rebuild cellar find
Right boys here is my little project i will try and post pics in a bit.
Found in a cellar after its owner was going to fix for 16 years.
It took me 10 to buy it off him.
I offered to rebuild the engine a few times but he thought it was big and too fast.
Engine in lots of bits cams rusty from the damp skirt missing of one piston oil pump and cam shells u/s but everything relse ok.
Frame red yuk front wheel yellow back blue.
Its all there except alternator and starter clutch but that's the challenge.
I will have it going soon.
I have sourced a bottom end inc barrells and new timing chain.
I wanted to rebuild the old one but it was cheaper to go this way but i now have enough bits to build it for another project.
Update as we go.
still cannot attach pics

Had a B2, it was one of my fave bikes: only sold it as I was "relocated" for work and had no option.
Look forward to the rebuild piccies.

its posting pics i struggle with i work from home with a pc everyday and i never have this problem posting truck pics to work and to customers.
I find it frustrating to say the least.
I now have all the parts to build the engine valve seals gaskets just waiting for the machine shop to helecoil a plug thread and clean the seats up where the cam rubbers fit i had to have them welded broken bolt and one cracked.

Hello Roy If you have an image on the web or uploaded into your ok board here do this.
When you are looking at the photo ,right click on the image and choose 'view image' from the pop up menu. Now you will be looking at only the image and not a web page. Look in the address bar at the top of your browser; you will see the address of the image and it will end with .jpeg or .gif or .png etc.
copy all of this by selecting it ALL. CTRL + C is the keyboard shortcut to copy.
In you post on this forum click the IMG button ONCE. Make sure your cursor is just after the tag that has now appeared in your post. Hold down CTRL +V That will paste what you just copied. Click the IMG button again(you will notice it has an asterix next to it this time. The closing image tag will be inserted into your post immediately after the address you just posted. Try it in preview before you submit. If it doesn't work, check there are no spaces at the beginning or end of your image address. Also check you copied the whole thing.
It's easy once you've done it a few times.
Good luck, look forward to seeing your bike.

I have no idea how you did that my hero.
The laptop was going out of the window ha ha.
That is the unitrac engine i have bought to fit in.
I now have some cams too.
So by xmas i will have a built engine.
I think i will find some better wheels as they are powder coated.
Standard ones i think.
