Here goes;
May 1975 Z1-B complete except for pipes...
Bloody hell it worked! (The black bags and top boxes are, of course, an important part of my Z1-B Component Resource And Product (CRAP) Storage Hierarchy and Integral Tele-remote (SHIT) retrieval system [patents pending])
...Pipes (unfortunately due to a tragic accident in the early 80's (full story on receipt of a SAE and 10/- Postal Order) I had to get a '76 pattern set, but they have been modified by Paul Scanlon to breathe and sound like Z1 pipes...
Now where did I put that cam cover, head & cams?..
...and this week on Spot the Part the Star Prize is...
...does my bum look big in this bottom end?
...and just to prove I still have the front wheel middly bits...
...and after Anthea gives us a twirl...
The front hubs are attached to an Italian Melber alloy wheel (I have front and rear wheels) which I bought from Daytona Kawasaki in Ruislip, Middx in 1978. They were on a half-price offer if I recall and cost me £125 the pair (a bleedin' fortune then). I shall offer them up in the "For sale" forum when I've extracted all the Zeddy bits.
Hope that satifies your desire for pics and thanks to all those who spent time and effort to guide me towards Photobucket. Without doubt one of the slowest and most irritating pieces of bloatware I've used in the past 40 years of playing with computers (yes, I go back to teletyping into remote mainframes!). It must have been written by Billy Gates himself.
Toodlepip, and watch this space for more pics after I've got the superglue out and randomly stuck stuff together.
