Mark II - Cosmetic Tidy up

#1 PostAuthor: njwmct » Sat Apr 19, 2014 4:36 pm

Stripped the Mark II back in October as the original frame paint was really letting the bike down

Got the frame primed

Image

But had to wait ages to do the gloss black as it was too cold in the garage to get a decent finish

Image

Didn't turn out too bad for a rattle can job.

Managed to get a bit further along today with the reassembly

Image

Scratched my head a bit trying to remember where all the wiring went

Image

Finally finished fitting the AFAM 530 chain & sprocket conversion after problems with the chain rubbing on the engine casing (Spacer added after useful advise from Z1ParR) - by the way that's a piece of cotton & not a scratch in the picture above - had a slight panic when I uploaded the pictures - had to go & check what it was LOL

Hoping to do a bit more tomorrow :D

I had one in that colour when they first came out. Bike of my dreams. That is brilliant :D This is the ONLY bike I would leave in standard trim IF I HAD ONE :(
