Don't bother with the PJ1, it is rubbish since the reformulation.
Use sperex/simoniz tough black satin or Wurth satin. It's near enough to the old PJ1.
No need for primer, just apply to clean bare ally.
Works best if you slightly pre heat the parts before spraying and even better if you can bake the parts after the paint has cured overnight.
I use the oven and grill when the missus is out
