Thanks to all who commented on my new boy post, I've done some more to the J since then. We've just had a georgous sunny day and I chucked the bikes out of the garage to have a good sweep and thought wow! the're looking good, nearly there.... I took the J off the road for six months, eight years ago having run it into the ground. I've owned it since 1985 and later used it to commute through two winters at which point I realised I had to fix it or scrap ii.
I had hoped to fire it up this weekend but am still waiting on a couple of Evil Bay purchases.

If she runs, a chain and sproket kit is next on the buy list followed by finishing the brakes, I'm sure I got all that in the right order
