made a start on fitting a new filler cap to the tank, seemed rude not to as i had a nice Harris cap lying about doing nothing

my initial plan had been to use a fireblade arm , since i had a couple, i'd widened the frame and modified it to take a blade spindle, and it looked ok. But then i remembered i had a zxr750 arm squirreled away, which looked much better(it will cause me grief later) so that was fitted
and shock mounts welded on

stock yokes would never cut it, and i'd never tried adjustable offset ones, so it seemed the ideal opportunity to make some. they'll never win the worlds lightest yokes competition, but i like them

i'm getting myself slightly out of order here
the 750 engine is now in place , and at this stage i was going to fit a mono shock, but as i do....i changed my mind. i was also considering spokey dokey wheels, but they are now in the "use later pile "

i decided from that shot that the tail was just too dam long, so the back of the frame was abbreviated somewhat and the tail piece shuffled forwards. that meant a bit of re-shaping to fit it around the shocks
then i decided to use blade wheels, just to make life easier, i needed this bike to start moving on . back wheel centred
the front was easy, blade wheel in blade forks

Like it alot! The early RWU blade forks look great and I must say I like the photo with the spoke wheels fitted, how come you decided to change? Look forward to more pics!
