3 bikes in queue for rebuild, in order:
1.1976 KZ900 A4; bought 21 years ago for $2000, 11k mi, sat for 15 years, one thing led to another, before I knew, it was totally stripped, frame powder coated, bodywork repainted to stock Diamond Brown and cases split to fix a broken bolt.
2. 1978 KZ1000 Z1-R D1; 22k mi. bought in a box for $650 20 years ago, will restore to Metallic Stardust Silver.
3. 1980 KZ1000 Z1-R D3; 11/12 impulse buy for $2850, 15k mi., will restore to original black with striping.

Will upload available photos as soon as I figure out how.. I only have a degree in physics.

Excellent.
You made it here at last.
Zorded has made the process for putting your picture on the site extremely easy.

Looking forward to seeing more of your Z1R's as you rebuild them.

You don't actually need a degree in physics, just a degree of enthusiasm which we've all got by the bucket load.

Many thanks for the assist, I would never have guessed... I had problems with the beta version they pushed on me, it would not behave.

Merry Christmas,

Thanks, in the interest of full disclosure... the titles and descriptions for the photos did not come over with the pix, so the engine case split is from the 76 A4 due to a broken case bolt, the 78 D1 is in a box waiting and the pix is a "To Be" til the A4 is done, the shytty looking D3 is the recent purchase and the pristine one is its "To Be" pix.

Merry Christmas from your former colony...
