Nothing ever on telly. So I had a bit of fun making one of these. It's only taken 8 years to finish.
It's handy having the real thing.

Other weekend in the toy shop with me boy and i spots a big spitfire airfix
model on offer half price not done one in years so i bought it
just got to find time to do it maybe put a pic up in 8 years time

Excellent! They came out in the early 70s not long after the film Battle of Britain. I've still got the one I built when I was 10. It's one of the few left that never met a firey end on our aerial runway.

Sainsbury's strawberry jelly - tail light colouration
Revell Contacta cement - for some very nice fumes.
