Islanders KZ1000 A2 Rebuild

Hi
Just thought I start the story of my rebuild and I am hoping for some help from you good fella if I have any problems.
Front wheel and fork should be fitted next weekend.

Good start, keep doing a little bit every weekend and it will start to come together fast.
The chaps on here can sort anything out if your struggling just shout up

Looks like youre doing just fine on youre own. Its' a nice place to be in a project; full of promise and anticipation. How well are you served for services and facilities. Round here you used to have an engineer on every corner and in sheds, lock-ups and units all over the place. Now you cant find anyone who wants to do anything.

Thats a sore point being a small Island we still have a few fred in the shed people who do everything the old way (the best way). But all parts have to shipped in from UK and postage on large bits very expensive. One plus point is we do not pay VAT on new parts!!!
