I've had an offer to eat biscuits whilst admiring your old Harris
The Plan..... I have scored some ZZr1100 RWU forks.... and hopefully an original Harris s/arm.....

So.... I agree..... 70/80's it is - as this seems the "in thing" at the moment

I don't intent to do too much to the motor, just check it over, fit some slightly "lumpier" cams and my VM29's

Now I know how members get their post Counts up...

Period Racer would make a change from all the High arsed Streetfighter abominations out there, I really like the idea of a P&M racer but the prices being asked for nice ones make a Z1 look cheap! funny cos you could pick them up for peanuts a few years ago.....

This project may be a bit of a "longer" one....... My other projects have been done to what I want & how I want it

I feel a bit more onus to get this one as "it should be" - within reason. The early 80's period look will defo apply. There will be a bit more Engineering with this build, so I'll be chasing about for idea's/help - mainly with stuff like rear lower engine mounts and spindles for wheels & swingarm, etc.
The motor is an unknown, but it still has a points ignition

It all looks like new though

I shall be selling the front end & complete rear end (Ducati 916) which has a brand new 190 tyre fitted

The carbs will also be up for sale at a later date. I won't be letting this stuff go too cheap as I need to fund my next bit of Engineering Sex......
Yes, very tidy
Dymags, freshly powder coated

Looks like a Magnum 1 to me. I have a spare swinger in the loft if you want to part with copious amounts of folding stuff

What did happen to the rear lower mounts? Should be tied in both sides.
