Made a start today started strip down,will leave engine in frame and a few other bits, frontend coming off for a good polish, rearend out for a change to a Dresda arm hope to get a Yoshi pipe or similar.Main jobs will be paintwork new carbs and getting it the way I want it to look and run

Got the swingarm today, its a cracker thanks Paul.Just waiting on the end caps so I can get it trial fitted to change it from a Z900 to Z1000 set up,also need to change the chaingaurd mounts before I get it rechromed.

Just wee footnote on this rebuild its bloody hard to post stuff about a bike that was a fellow members bike, just want to say anything I am doing to the bike is my choice as this is the way I have always wanted my next Z to look,the work that Phil has done to the bike makes my life easy i just feel guilty doing it hope this makes sense.
