Z1000 Endurance bike

#1 PostAuthor: spondonges » Tue Aug 30, 2011 1:23 pm

Hi , have just sussed out how to post pictures so here goes.!!

I've always loved the late 70's ,early 80's Kawasaki Endurance bikes. I've acquired this ex GSX1325 frame and tank. Don't know who made it but it's got me thinking of putting in a Gpz1100 engine which I have spare. It needs a rear subframe but I dont want to put a monoshock on it. It has to be twin shock with a JMC / Davida swing arm or Zephyr 750 arm.
Any suggestions as to how to mount a subframe and would an alloy subby which can be bolted on be strong enough to take a twin shock arrangement??

I'd rather be riding my Z1 thinking about God than sitting in a church thinking about my Z1..

Could be fantastic...

i think if it was me, i would have the subframe in steel and match the trellis design of the front end
