My Z Project

#1 PostAuthor: Anuar Kamaruddin » Mon Aug 29, 2011 1:57 am

25 years after the last ride and stored in the garage,I finally decided to do the Z and ride again. It will take some time to be completed,by year end I predict. The JMC swing arm gives no space to mount the master cylinder rod with the Tarozzi rear set. Thanks Mr Administrator,Danny and Jappen for the kind response to my queries.Image

Received the AN-3 [Blue] fitting from ANPlumbing to complete the rear brake.Image

But still short of the master cylinder, trying to fabricate a bracket for the MCylinderImage

Bikes looking good there Anuar :up keep us posted on its progress.

I'm sure other members with Z1000's using a similar set up as yours - Tarozzi rearsets / bigger swingarm will have had a similar problem with the master cylnder rod. You could always post in 'Bike help' for possible solutions.
Wots up DOHC

Nice Bike...are you going to use Lockheed Calipers on the front? I have Brembo's and My Z1r, also the Tarozzi rearsets are a bit of a pain to fit to standard Bikes I had to bend the Brake rod to fit on my Z1r as it didn't line up..
Bugger ! whose Idea was that!

There were a few Z1,Z900 and the KZ1000,12 /13 pieces, most went AWOL,I have a Z900 and the Z1000.A friend of mine is restoring a Z1 And that makes 2 and a half cos someone stole the Crankcase of my Z900 from the garage.Cheers
