As you can see it is not quite standard, and a couple of things need doing, maybe some of you may be able to help, and if you are local to Reading and fancy a ride down to offer help/advice it would be apreciated.
So far, I know the seat needs doing as it has a couple of big splits, I have bought a battery today, it needs a tacho cable, and two air filter pods, as only two are fitted. It did come with the original airbox, but I don't know if it is all there, I also got the original rear guard and light.

Also needs a 4.25 rear rim and 150 section tyre , looks very good on Kath's 1000a2 . Good to see a 1000 and not those prototype 900's .

Looks like you had a find with the seat matching the paintwork. Some people moan about e bay but for those hard to find parts it cannot be beat.

Thanks guys, the seat really does look like it was made for the bike, how cool is that.
Well my cleaning and polishing seems to be paying off, as I got the best compliment you can get today, when someone stopped to ask me if I would sell the bike and adding "what a very nice zed" I do have to say though it looks great in the sun with all that chrome shining.
