I may in the short term just use as is. I do intend eventually to change
- speedo (wrong )
- exhaust to an original 4 - 4 pipe, may end up buying a set from america
- colours of bike (which are Z1 colours - maybe to Black and red - may even air brush some flames on. Nice !!!

Hi Adrian, nice bike,

I recognise it from the scam that was going on a few months ago, some sellers with no feed back on ebay was trying to sell that bike cheap, one seller was from leicester!!

Indeed it would.!!! Pity it isn't a Z1000 you could do whatever you like because you couldn't make them any uglier :?? very nice bike all the same.

PJ I was the one who mentioned it as being a scam. This bike took me 2 months of negotiations to buy.

I am really tempted to do a custom paint job on this bike - myself. But I am still deliberating on what to do.

Only time will tell, I have seen a Z1 with a flaming tank, side panels and tail piece. (not real flames) just painted must add.

I'll swap you that paintset for a black paintset - flames would look soooooo much better on black..........

I was thinking of something along the lines of this, with a Gold flake base.

I may be willing to do a deal on paintwork, but would not be until early next year.

Agreed, sell the paint set and get a new tank from z-power and new side panels/tail piece from the club.

Go for it!
Looking at the pic has given me a flashback caused by foolishly indulging in "acid" trips in the days of my youth.
Do some research on flames as there is a huge variety of styles and colours.
