Harris magnum Z1100R

#1 PostAuthor: Magnum1 » Sat Nov 14, 2009 12:14 pm

Motor has to come apart because the head is cracked. The 2 outer cylinder head bolts came out nice and easy, so did the 12 nuts. 10 mins to get the head off.

Taking the head up to see about repair. Otherwise have to keep looking for a replacement.

Hoovering was nearly right - the thing that gave you away was the OVEN GLOVES

Thanks guys, she loves it! Any tips on removing the valve seal clips and seals without mullering them?
Thanks,
Rod

I like the idea of feeding back on the performance of organisations and individuals used by members of the club. So, I have decided to include this theme in my project thread.
Yesterday, I transversed the capital to deliver my cylinder head to deepest South London. John Andrew of I KLEENZ MACHINES quoted £150 approx to repair and vapour blast the head and cam cover.
I will feedback on his performance when the parts are ready.
