Hi All,
New member today. First let me say...LOVE the Z'ds Always have, even before "Mad Max"

Ok, here we go. I am embarking on a twin build. A M8 of mine had two '77 Z1A1's. He gave one to me.... Very nice..... and the other he wants me to build for him, so, I may just do both at the same time.

Here is the picture. taredown, brace frame and powder coat. clean up battery area and make as much of the electrical as possible invisible. New controls, rear sets, dymags, upgrade swinger, brakes and suspension, digital clocks, rebuild engine, new paint and upholstery.

I know I am not inventing the wheel. There must be plenty of killer Z'ds built on here. I am just sharing the plan in hopes some will help me steer clear of known issues or shoot me suggestions or warnings on what not to use if I step in it as it were.

For mine, usd forks, stretched bandit 1200 swingarm, fox piggy back shocks, custom clocks, paint and upholstery, braced frame, 6" rear wheel 200 tire, drag bars, RFID keyless ignition, all solid state ignition and charging system, led tail light, hid headlights and some bling here and there.

Thanks for listening to me ramble on.....but I am stoked to finally have one of these legendary beasts...

cheers,
