Been looking for a thou'S for months, a chance meeting with an old work mate last week we were yapping about old bikes i said i had a couple of GSthou's and was looking for a S model he told me about this one, went to see it and was blown away with the GS, engine fully rebuilt with 1050 kit frame all recoated wheels refurbed complete set of new bodywork plus two new seats etc etc, and all the original parts, all for less than the price of a tatty Z THOU  :D

GS1000's represent excellent value for money and don't look like they will ever fetch the sort of money Zeds do.
Don't know why, as arguably, [and i know i'm going to get flak for this], they are a better bike than the Z1000/Z1R.

What a bargain Andy, that looks a tidy bike anyway. The GS was renowned for better performance and handling even if Suzuki did copy the design of the motor

Must admit the cam chain running gear on a GS1000 is a whole lot less complicated.
