Must admit Coldsummer I have toyed with the idea of buying a paint set in Super Candy Blue myself so I can change the look to more standard, Z power used to sell PMC paint sets but they don't list them on website anymore (they were £725 ish which is pricey).
Thing is the zed looks great in all colour schemes - decisions, decisions!

Cheers Tailiftchris, I love it to bits.

Carbs completed, engine dismantled and prepped for vapour blasting etc.
I'll post images of the engine rebuild probably two weeks time.

Now where did I leave that M10*1.00m tap :D

Finally.........a sensible post from me. I just collected the polished bits from Mikey, hopefully pick up the chromed bits tomorrow. Brilliant job Mikey, I can't wait to start putting it all back together :D

I'll try to post a few pics in the next couple of days.

Apart from that, Dogs' is making good progress with the carbs and motor and no more bad news when he split the cases so that is cool. Frame and wheels should be ready next week so we should be cooking pretty soon!

Oh, I think I've decided on the colour but for now I'll keep it to myself in case I change my mind again. Maybe a few clues in my post in the bike help section

Later dudes.

Now don't be so hard on yourself Steve!

I spoke to Nick at Griffs a couple of days ago. It is mostly prepped now, the brake-stop lug has been removed, so should be ready for collection next week, hopefully same time as the wheels. There is a problem with one of the rearset hangers where the alloy appears to have cracked so they are going to try and get it welded, otherwise a new one will have to be milled. Also decided to get an adjustable brake-stop plate made up which can be bolted to the peg mounts rather than welded back onto frame, this will give more options.

Very exciting, you'll have to come over for a nosey when I get them back. Sue is off to Canada for a couple of weeks next Thursday so I'll have plenty of free time

After a seemingly endless delay waiting for various bits to be rebuilt, it looks like I am close to having most parts ready for re-assembly. I'll try to post some pics in the next couple of days.

Mike, AKA Dogsbolloxofz1b has started the engine rebuild against all odds so all is looking positive.

Hopefully I will remember how it all goes back together.......now, where did I put that Haynes manual :?:
