i was thinking my METMACHEX Swing arm bearings are shot,
i was under my bike the other day and i noticed some serious movement in the forward and back direction,
not good,

so i took off the swing arm today and wouldn't you beleave it they are tapered roller bearings, not the needle bearings i ordered last night :shout:

WRONG BEARINGS.
I need these.
03062 koyo japan

Kano, i looked at the same fairing on eBay but was put off by the lack of mounting brackets. His posting was silent on this so I sent him a message and he told me he had lost the brackets that went with it. Hope you can find something locally that will do the job for you.
Z1000R, Moto Martin, z900 A4 Crosby Replica, Harris Magnum 2, Suzuki GSXR 1100 Slabbie, Yamaha YZF750SP, SP1 Hoonda, Katana 1100, Bimota SB6R
because i have a one off triple tree set up i was always going to fab up my faring mount so didn't give it a thought, these twin fairings are as rare as chickens teeth over here, and it really needed it as it was it looked too streetfighter for a ELR imho...
ginger ill help you out if u need it bro.

Hi Kano got the same fairing, they are stil available new from Skidmarx in the UK. Be careful that you don't burn out your alternator!
I am switching to HID as the alternator on my B1 is 280W at 8500 rpm, the lights take 110W on dipped...........

well after being off the road for 10 mths
finished most of my bike and went for a ride yesterday,
man it was sweet,
bike handled really well,
no front end wobbles,
no rear end wobble,
the hydrolic clutch conversion worked better than i expected,
exhaust system i pieced together sounds great,
i do need to rebuild the rear master cylinder,
install the led indicators,
install the hid lights,
i also ordered some rubber boots to help keep out water from getting to the bulbs.

i picked up a whole harness and switches battery box all in amazing condition.
while i was at it fitted billet led indicators and hid headlight kit.
