7.8:1 CR 'turbo' pistons them.
If you're not going down the 'blower' route I'd suggest you get a set of 10.25:1 pistons. I would happily buy the old set from you

Okay, do keep me in mind if you want to sell the flat top pistons & rings.
Obviously nat asp is a lot less stressful, both on the engine and owner

Thanks, Will

Been a while...
One of the few jobs I dislike so I am glad there are only 8 of them...
Engine in the frame to put some weight on the suspension but the backend is too high so need to adjust that.
Dropped on the mudguard to see how it looks and working on the shape of the seat...

i think you need to read zpowers comments

I DONT CARE, IN OR OUT BUT IM ENJOYING THE DEBATE......................ARMSTRONG MT500. a pushbike, waves.....addict, no offence
A quick run through of some of the things I have been up to...
Shock needed some tlc but I forgot to take pics of after I had finished.
Switch gear and badges repainted
And the mount for the clocks
I have managed to get some GPZ1100 Raask rearsets and I need to modify the kickstart to clear them.
19 tooth 5/8 offset front sprocket
The backend was too high so I lowered it so the chain would run without fouling the swinging arm.
The chain run is now perfect and I didn't have to machine anything off the rear sprocket carrier to align the front and rear sprocket either
So this is as it stands at the moment with an exhaust trial fitted (cable ties
)
I also purchased an early Z1 tail piece from the Z1OC (very good quality I may add) as the Z1000 one I had before just didn't look quite right.
Still a way to go but it's starting to look something like now.
You can just make out the rebuilt shock in the last pic.
Cheers Phil.
