Been busy with me shocks. :shock:

Stripped 'em all down, cleaned up the bodies, then treated them with Kurust, before polishing them again.
Springs were rubbed down, then sprayed with 'smooth' Hammerite, before spending an hour in the oven.
Mikey was bribed (with cakes) to polish the top retaining rings. I think they contrast well with the black paint.
Some of the parts went into the ultrasonic cleaner........ Some of 'em didn't fare too well. :shock: :roll:

These were rubbed down & treated to a coat of Halfords plastic primer, followed by a coat of leftover 'Firecracker' red from me snotter project, then given a coat of clear lacquer.
I ended up with this lot;

Used these 'ladder ties' from Machine Mart as an 'impromptu', but effective spring compressor.

And fitted to the bike with my newly supplied acorn nuts. :shock:

They did indeed come out very nicely!
