its not too bad,some parts go for big money,eg seats and clocks as these are no longer available new,quite a few parts are still available new,the problem is even ratty bikes seem to be fetching decent money so it wont be the cheapest project you could find,doing a j or b1 replica would be a way to do it

Well after 2 and a half years the bike is pretty much finished,picked the bodywork up from the paintshop today,

Such a lot of work and such a great result. Let us know how it rides and handles. Seen several bikes with aftermarket wheels forks swingarms etc but never hear about the feel of the thing when its done.

The bike handles really well,the gearing is now bang on using 17/39 sprockets to compensate for the change in wheel sizes,brakes are good too
