They're not gonna be covered in a nice leopard skin print are they, or maybe faux fur?

I'm surprised Nick would powder coat barrels; I thought that barrels should 't be powder coated because of cooling issues.

Jury's still out on the coating for my engine; initially I was going to two pack the barrels and head and powder everything else, but the masking for powder coating is such a drag I may 2 pack the lot. I am also going to research industrial paints suitable for ally castings etc :D

Can you replate these with the rubbers still on? Useful to know that if you can.

Bit more progress on this loong slooow project.
Top crankcase has gone to jak to have the bodge welded up properly.
And had these back from Griffs yesterday, cant see it in the pics
but they have a really nice sparkle finish to them.
Having few days off now and hoping to get some more stuff done.

Done a bit more assembled all the footrests and mounts
cant see it in the pics but the olive drab green looks really good with the black gloss powder coat.
Got my crankcases back from jak yesterday done a fantastic job of welding up
the bodge on the rear engine mounting and repairing the transmission cover
and getting out a snapped crankcase bolt.

Had a bit of time today while waiting for the chrome to strip off a job
so painted the top crank case today.
Cleaned it all by hand (not keen on blasting of any sort on crank cases)
and painted it with a brush.
