I wish I had one of those - just got my frame back and I am bricking it thinking about getting the engine back in with out scratching the frame....

I belive the engine heat gone be a little bit lower.
And i think it looks cool :wink:

Thanks, thought it must be something to do with heat dissipation. I agree it looks cool.

Looks good, nice feature, but painting it black can reduce temp by up to 50deg.
Undecided whether to leave my block bare too or go black for the sleeper look.

I like the workmanship you've done here, very well done.
I've researched what zed1015 suggested re: engine block, and I think he's right.

However, I agree, the bare aluminum on yours looks cool,
but for optimum heat dissipation efficiency, I'm still going to paint my engine
block black, but the different to the usual engine finish is
sure I admire. Cheers :up
