Hello,
an update on the Chain Tensioner thing:
bought one from Monstercraft and here it is being fitted:
Had to ease the metal away a bit on the clamps and the sprocket needs spacing out 6mm but that'll be it as a done deal -- £125 & £22 import duty !!
regards
Howie

You wouldn't happen to have a couple of pictures of haw the engine is mounted in the frame, just curious.

Here's some pictures of the rebuild progress. Engine cleaned up and painted, frame powder coated and the base coat. Seat is cut back by 3 inches, so I can move around a bit more and there's extra width. Frame is a new alloy type colour which looks really nice. Mostly needs small parts now and cleaning of bolts etc. Got an o ring kit for all 4 carbs from America. Getting their slowly. Note, this is the rare touring model with bungee lugs under the seat rails.

green paint.
The paint looks stunning , where did you get it. I'm trying to match a mudguard to my original Lawson paintwork.

My mate is doing it, he's a bit of a dab hand with the ol' paint. I think he's using the coded Kawasaki colour.
