Somewhat closer but the harder I look the more 'fiddly' bits there is to complete.

Been a while but still plodding towards completion. Brakes bled, chain and sprocket fitted, a quick run through and then over to the local Zed magician for a start up. Most went well however have issues with the new Tranzac headers and the drama of getting a good press seal against the copper gasket from the collars.
So off with the exhausts and need to heat and get a truer shape on the collars for following up on the end of the headers. PITA but no great drama. Once that is done it will be a case of sitting down with ample fluids to go from front to back, bottom to top re torquing and double checking before her maiden flight.
Been a drawn out build as also renovating the house and keeping the Minister For Everything happy ( well in my eyes happy ). So bloody close I can taste it
* Footnote - Decided that a break was needed and the GPZ had been just a daily round town runner so gave her a treat with a countryside leg stretch.

I've had hell of a time with the after market replica exhaust to firstly align and secondly seal. They supplied me with their own collars and no way could I get the headers to seal. Thanks to a mate over east he sent through an old set of OEM collars and that did the job.
A few other minor issues sorted this morning, chain was rubbing on the chain guard, a few spacers sorted that out. All that is left is tickle the carbies a bit, do oil change then go through the run in cycle whilst checking, torquing and rechecking everything.
Cheers for all the help, advice and parts from inmates on this site. Certainly made it a lot easier and curbed that frustration level at crucial times (mainly when I was going through giving up smoking !! ).
I'll call this project complete now and add in the out and about when I get the time to do a run.
