The tubes have been moved to follow the line of the side panels better.
The cross frame braces are in to add strength and support the seat and tailpiece.

My mate took a picture of me trying it out for size
Shame the front tyre is flat
id keep an eye out that the chain misses the top of the arm when it mates up with the front sprocket
Phil.

Hi Neil,
The weight of the engine should shallow out the swinging arm a little and I'm currently thinking about a 17/46 530 sprocket setup but was going to ask that question a little closer to the time but if anyone has some input on this I would appreciate it.
17" rear 180/55 so with a 17/46 530 i'm thinking flat out would be around 120mph but will accelerate quite hard with the 1200 top end?
Cheers,
Phil.

Hi Rob,
The main reason was clearance between the chain and the top of the swinging arm.
Anyone else running 17" wheels with a 530 chain conversion want to post their gearing and what it pulls like?
Cheers,
Phil.

Thanks for the suggestion tlc
If I have any issues I have a few options two of which being increase the length of the forks to put more weight on the back or make some new dog legs to drop the rear a little.
This requirement will be driven by the size of the sprockets I use etc...
Cheers,
Phil.

Now I can progress the blind build to see what additional brakets etc I will need.

Phil that's awesome!
I'm wondering though, if your frame might be too rigid now.
Lester Harris says bike frames need a bit of flex, for cornering.
I have a magazine article about it, I'll post a seperate thread
in Bike Help...

It's the cheapest bit of restoration so far
