Thanks Mate, here's me more piccys. The electrics are all done, new ignition new controls, had to get an electrian in to help with fitting the pattern parts, new starter relay second hand idiot lights, clock covers and one new coil. The list seems endless and of course hours of polishing and painting.
Cheers Archie, and a Happy Cristmas and New Year to everyone.

Thanks for the comments guys. There will be more pics to follow, Hey Ollie still waiting on some photos of yours, how are you getting on?
I've fired up the beasty after problems with no spark which turned out to be the ignitor and it starts ok from cold and as it gets running the revs start to climb up to about 5000 rpm (ish, rev counter not connected yet). Anyone have any ideas, i changed the TPS, i ran it with the tank filler cap open and turned the idle screw right out with no change. I tried to PM Ninjabob as i think he had the same problem but no reply yet. Any help would be great.
Thanks Archie

hi,

i've got Ninja bobs old Z1000H - the throttle flaps were not closing properly on his bike - the throttle linkage was tight. I slacked it off and hey presto - normal tickover.

cheers........chris

Thanks Chris, i think i'll try the original bodies and see what happens, the set in the bike are a newer set, identical in everyway but maybe not completely and need looking at more closely.
Thanks Archie
P.s the main thing is it didn't go BANG!!!! when i fired it up the first time.
