Guy i painted the J head and barrells with Satin (flat) PJ1 (three coats) and two weeks later after re-assembly ran it up and got it really really hot and i mean hot. The paint around the area of the combustion chambers / spark plugs lifted about an inch in the perfect shape of the combustion domes complete with fins and spark plug hole.
When it cooled down it dropped back down but didnt stick.
It flaked and fell of over the next few weeks.
That was two years ago. Next time i did it i low baked it off in the oven and its been fine ever since.

Not a great deal, Steve it seems one step forwards two steps back at the moment :swe ...just spent £300 quid on tyres and chain/sprockets...will post some more pic's hopefully at the weekend.

I still blame the scampi Friday night for me filling bad Saturday...not the 6 or 7 pints of cider :onthep

I didn't quite get as much done as i wanted this weekend but i got my new tyres fitted/balanced with new inner tubes for £30.00 quid which i think wasn't to bad :D

Also i wanted this time to hide the horn, so i made up a bracket and fitted up out of the way behind the head stock.

And today a neighbour came over and said (I'm having a good clear out do you want these pullers) well what could i say apart from thanks :D
