These guys have pretty much every Z badge ever made for tank and panel / model. They ship right to the UK and a decent price. I got a couple and can confirm the quality is excellent.

Received the paintwork back this morning, fantastic job and pictures do not do Flying Tigers attention to detail any justice. I am extremely happy with the finished product he has created. Need to get it MOT'd now and then get some miles on before getting it on the dyno.

Have done a few miles up the road and will try to get it MOT in next 2 weeks. Got to work straight through till Sunday 4 pm and then taking son to do Ben Nevis, Scafell and Snowdon for Cancer Research sponsored hillwalk. His idea! Good cause though.
Hopefully the sooner we finish the hills the sooner I can finish it, have been inspecting the plugs and I need to play around with the jetting to get some miles on before dyno.

Back from the hill walking and got the bike insured with modifications listed and took it for it's MOT test today. It passed with flying colours, now need some road tax which I can't get till I receive insurance paperwork in post and DVLA send certificate back as I advised them of capacity increase to engine and colour change. Should be ready for some miles before the weather turns.

Had an interesting week, had the bike out a couple of times and all well. Then on the way back with headlights on in the dark I started losing brightness and rev counter started doing weird flicks.
Turned out battery had gone flat, borrowed a multimeter today to show stator had a fault.
Luckily had a spare one which has cured the problem and got 13volts at the battery when running.
Then I took it to Dynobike at Malton, bike was running great on the way with an indicated 135mph on the speedo. I dropped it at the dyno and went for a walk.
When I got back Paul gave me the bad news that it had started to make a noise on the third run!! Had bike trailered home courtesy of Footam james and after stripping it found no 1 big end gone, due to oil starvation from clutch fibres partially blocking oil pump intake. Clutch appears to have been a barnett one and had been slipping around 7000-9000 revs, so had replaced with a new ebc set of plates. Should of taken the sump off to check state down below.
