It's easy to get carried away, I keep saying no more projects but I still need to scratch the GPz1100 itch or maybe an 1100R

My 944 hasn't turned a wheel since last July, it may get converted into bikes come Summer.

Cheers, Paul

Few more hours in the garage today and a few £'s lighter

Got the front guard back from Simon at Flying Tiger today, a cracking job, like glass, looking forward to the next delivery of the remaining panels, I'd asked for the guard first to enable me to get the wheel in.

Bit of a hiccup with the new discs, the bolts that came with them weren't the right ones so for now they are just held on with a couple until the new ones are delivered later in the week.

Chain and sprockets also now on hand so I etch primed and painted the rear black as per original .....although it did look as nice in its new zinc coating.

Next on the parts order will be a new clutch kit and all the new control cables and possibly new Goodridge brake hoses if I can stretch to it.

Someone's gonna get a cracking bike when I sell it ..... :D

Keep an eye on EBay US, a few company's sell on there, I found one that had a good discount sale on based in California , then found their website, Googled them and read good reviews, bought via their online shop not EBay , ordered from them Wednesday, delivered today, tracked via FedEx all the way, no problems.

cheers, which company am I looking for? bikes looking great by the way :)

This is who I used, there may be cheaper, there are certainly dearer, but the service and delivery were excellent.

Made a start on the calipers today, will be fitting new pistons and seals etc, I appear to have lost the small pad guides so more parts to order.

VIC, will get you some pics of the centre stand later.

Cheers, Paul

Nice bike coming on well.
Will be better than new when finished as some spotty 17 year old will not have assembled it remember them days.
I have the same side stand set up on my GPZ1100 B2 but as i bought it in boxes can i be cheeky and ask if you will take me some photos of how all the side stand springs fit i have a genuine manual but its not very clear i have been on the dutch parts site and it doesnt even list it on yours or mine.
Thanks in advance.

So over the last few days I offered the Kerker up to assess clearance on the sump, maybe spurred on by the Kerker thread in the main forum, need to fit proper exhaust studs yet but this was just a dry fit for ref', got to say it does fit well, no pulling or tugging required.
