Been to see z its a bit rough needs a bit of tlc. got big carbs, k+n filters, looks like a fast flow fuel tap, the owners not sure but he thinks its been tuned because its a lot quicker than his old z. rizmola rear sets metamex arm, alloy spoked wheels of some sort, nearly new ohlins shocks harrison billet calipers on front, its not a z1000 after all it's a 1975 z900 going by frame no. No badges kawasaki painted on tank does any one know if i could put them back on? £1500 is that about right?

Hi Brian it sounds o.k., difficult to say without seeing the bike, surely he knows if the engine has been upgraded?

Cheers

BRIAN, GOOD TO MEET YOU AT THE pod OVER THE WEEKEND.....

My bike is a 1075, gasflowed, RFS36 carbs... etc. Its good enuff for 11.5 over the 1/4 so not too bad for a 30 yr old machine

Any old Zed can be as GOOD or BAD as you want - how deep yer pockets then ££££££££'s :?:

Brian,
Generally if it has got big carbs on especially as big or bigger than 33mm's and it runs ok there is a fair chance its had a big bore as often the big carbies dont suit standard engines.
Although if they are 29mm ones they would be about right and offer extra performance, its relatively easy to rip the carbs off (and check!).
If it has 29mm cr's then they are also pretty rare.

With regard to Bracing,
I will post the instructions and measurements for frame bracing later on the forum, but need to get my scanner connected first.
Cheers
Phil
