dragged on for a while but eventually they done it, shame cuz he never bought another kawasaki after that.

John told me there's some oil filter somewhere in the engine that get very clogged very easily, but if kept clean the engines are fine. The varnish stuff on the alternator windings has a habit of coming away and blocking the filter so he tells me. I'll investigate further when I have some time.

I don't think he was talking about the main filter. But I'll have to ask him about it now I have the Baby Zed. He said there was some little known secret to keeping 'em going - perhaps that's that was what was causing 'em to eat cams

Thanks for that Mark. Wish you were with us tomorrow.
When I got back from town on my bike just now, I expected Bella to be waiting the other side of the roller shutter door, but she wasn't, when I'd got the bike on the bench, making loadsa noise I started to get worried about the lack of greeting. Walked through the house and she was motionless by the front door; I don't mind admitting I damn near shat myself - it was only when I heard the loud snoring I knew all was OK and that she is getting very deaf
Three would have gone to none cos Mikey would never find it on his own!
Thanks for the phone message - I'm gonna have one hell of a hangover if I gotta drink for you as well
