ordered some Ferodo pads (they work well on the car)
Changed the fluid as it was dark brown
Pads have some chunks out of them I guess they are on their last legs
had a 20 mile ride this morning and it rides really well. engine is strong and tractable.
Got a black and silver plate (from the Bunnyz school of cool)
Clutch still has a high bite piont but I'm getting used to it

Re clutch Markm have you adjusted it via the nut and slotted screw under the eye shaped panel on the casing?

I'd think Rolling Stoppies are an unlikely event on a single disc A4. Braking needs to be very much a planned event.
I stripped, cleaned and fitted new seals, new fluid and new sintered pads on my A4 and it made little difference. About the best I could say was my bike had genuine ABS.

don't forget to retorque the head
ok, new pads in, I was a bit confused as the pad that fits in the floating bracket was very tight (as was the one I removed) I rang my mate Steve Bowdler and he advised trimming it a bit.
After I did this all felt more smooth, braking performance is not great but the pads need some time to bed in
