Moved up North 18 months ago and being out of my comfort zone req a bike to restore or give some tlc to. Chosen bike being a Z1300. Took a gander at a few for sale. But to be honest dog ruff. But one came up and took a gander on ebay. Guy had spent a fortune part building one and only wanted his wonga back £2250. But fetched over £4k and did'nt win the auction.Tonto wrote:Great looking example![]()

Where did you manage to find the NOS zorsts from ????
But received a phone call to say that had purchased a stock load of NOS parts for Kwak, H****, Suzuki.
Got the parts for my restoration for the Z1300. But wish I had the wonga to purchase all the Z1 spares from brand new tanks to full exh systems.

Hi.
God knows whats happening? one min im a reg poster the next Im a nobody. All credit to admin for getting me back on the forum, but some times takes me 3 attempts to log in? Re posting photo's? Feel that its me and not got me head around the system yet. Feel that would be more simple if the site had a system just to add an attachment.
Any way. Got my membership card key ring and badge so a fully paid up member
. And though own Z1300 and a Z750 twin the next will be the Z1. When I win the lottery. unless some one got one going cheap
.

4 years ago.. I was playing with the idea, of another bike, but which one.. Cbx1000. Kettle. Z1 z900 and z1300.. I got 2 of them.. But still would like a brute z1300.. One day...

Only have the Z1300, Z750 twin which restoring and a Ducati 749 which will be sold to help fund the purchase of a Z900 in the future.
