More progress has been made, made the rear torque arm out of a simple piece of aluminium flat bar, rear brake has been bled and is now fully functional, rear sets are finally mounted with the rear master cylinder and HRC fluid reservoir.

Done more work on the wiring and mounted a few little things like the horn/ flasher relay and starter solenoid etc.
Headlight and brackets are also mounted and wired up.

And mounted the modified Xj600 diversion front mud guard

And has a very exciting delivery this morning

Cheers Freddy, yeah calipers mounted infront of the fork legs as a hark back to the original z650 and z1, some reservations as to whether it will work properly but we'll see

I know the smaller pistons usually "lead", but those calipers are bloody powerful and should work great - just give it a go lad
And on the 7th day... Zeds were created!

So as you can probably tell, this ones been on hold for a little while due partly to me working too many hours yet still not having enough money (can't work this one out... :shrug ) and I've been messing around with a couple of 'daily riders'

Top yoke is done and is beautifully made, fitted the bars to it and then decide to fit the (empty) engine back in to see how it looks and begin to find out where this will fit around it... was going to mock up some engine mounts but got to excited and zip time my dads old V&H pipe to it, fits very well and nearly made me sex wee my pants, looks like I've got some persuading to do .

Again no real work has been done but I put on the b1 green paint set just to see how it looked and then thought I'd offer up the FCR's and have found out I will need to use a pingle tap as the FCR's foul on the stock one
