Have you seen Harry's project 'H'?

AL

zorded, sorry about the reused thread - my fault. I should have started a 'Project' thread rather than continue to use my 'New Here' one.

Yes, Harry's photo's are proving useful as a close up reference shot for some of the build. Although I took lots of photo's when I dismantled my Z a lot of components had been removed from their mounts already.

Shaun,

I can split this thread & put the project stuff in a new thread in the projects section if you'd like?

If its not too much trouble then that sounds like a good bit of house keeping :)

Do you need me to create the thread in the Projects section for you to move posts to?

Shaun,

Just moved this for you. If you want to change the title you can edit it in the first post on this new thread, or just tell me & I'll do it for you.

That looks terrific - well done!
Love the engine finish - do you know what paint it is?
My friend had a Z1000H back in the day (have a picture of it somewhere that I will try to post up on here)

A stunning bike.
The blog detailing the strip down and rebuild is also very well put together and is a credit to you.

Puts mine to shame, now the weathers managed to get to it.

Suppose I'll have to build a weather and waterproof new garage.

And start again.

I copied about 100 plus photos from Harry's camera cards and they are still on my computer somewhere.
If you need anything by way of detail, he left nothing out so just ask.

I must admit I am struggling with the routing of the hoses so anything that shows them and the pressure regulator would be a welcome help.

Cheers, Shaun.

Only these i'm afraid for hoses etc. and i think they are all contained within the project thread too.

BTW there is a difference between the fuel injection supplement and the manual with regard to the orientation of the fuel filter. (Test 9)
Eventually we decided on one way rather than the other.
One way up it wouldnt fill but i cant remember which was which.
Harry will know.

Ah, I'm glad you mentioned the fuel filter as that's one thing I was struggling with. The parts book is also 'wrong'.
