Interesting to see your engine No 388, no doubt you saw the recent ebay 72 Z1 in Oz below. That has frame number 388. Where did your bike originate?

Looks good. My only gripe is the pink base gasket. I know its a Genuine gasket but dont you think the grey looks better and as intended? Really not trying to be negative as it still looks great its just that the pink against the black never looks right. You can still get the grey ones from z-power.

You know, I think the same thing - bloody fantastic work - but the gaskets are just off putting - I have a simply STUNNING '73 Z1 here that Mark Hutton built a few years back but he insists on using Genuine gaskets which stick out like a sore thumb
