Did you get them jetted by trial and error, recommendations or dyno tuning? Crofty

Jim, i'm sure my carbs are 28mm...as the ones on my Z1000A2 are the same and they are 28mm.

Maybe both sets i have are from Z1R's :?:

Finally got round to fitting the lovely exhaust that Dave made for me today after picking them up from Stafford on Saturday.
After a small problem with number #4 down pipe and a quick phone call to Dave it was sorted out (sorry Dave for the call...it was my fault)
Anyway here's some pics...

Nice work on the internals Dave - I'm no longer baffled by what you will be fitting - looks very professional - hope to hear a start up video from Guy when this one comes back to life!!

Hi Guy - great to meet up with you at Stafford - I think you must be nearing the home stretch with this one now - can't wait for the finish.

Cheers from Mark

Hi Mark...yep it was good to meet you as well at Stafford :D

The next thing to do is the wiring :?? which i hate with a passion...think i'm going have to get a friend of mine to come have a look at it

Then it's the brake and clutch lines to be made.

As it was nice and sunny this morning, i got the 650 off the bike lift and dragged her outside and took some better pics of the exhaust.

Looks even better in the day light. Guy were did you get the fitting for your crankcase breather? I was going to get one of those little filters but that looks very neat.
