First ride

#1 PostAuthor: Big John » Mon Apr 21, 2008 7:41 pm

Took the latest Z1000B2 to the Ace yesterday, first time out on it. First impression was how well it rode compared to when first purchased which got me thinking the only real change was the low bars. Do they make that much difference in ride quality, I have to admit I am not a lover of the standard high bars. Also thought the Koni shoks were a major improvement over standard.

Don't forget 4 into 1's as well, who wants to drag the weight of those extra 3 pipes around. Think ours were the only ones with low bars on, think I might get Renthal superbike ultra lows to try.

Paul, got the Renthal superbike lows fitted at the moment which are a fairly close match to the Z1000R/1100R bars. Had drag bars fitted to a Z1000A2 many moons ago thought I might try something inbetween.
