Re-Fitting A Cool Zorst

#1 PostAuthor: GregZ » Sun Mar 23, 2008 9:39 pm

I Bought this Martin zorst on ebay. Looks like a yoshi pipe. The chrome is in very bad shape but overall Nice Zorst. The header pipe fit nicely to the Z head but the tail section mount bracket was way off. Not sure what the pipe was for.

So I cut off the mount bracket, fit the pipe to the bike and re-welded the bracket.

Next i sand blasted the pipe

A few coats of hi temp flat black paint and we have a nice zorst for the zed

I also have a near perfect yoshi pipe. The header is black and the tail section is chrome. This pipe is for sale. Shipping to UK is costly. If you are interested in the yoshi Make me a offer US dollars

Greg.
That is indeed a genuine Moto Martin exhaust you have there, made specifically to fit the Martin frame.... would imagine Mr Doran would be able to confirm this, but I had that exact pipe fitted to my Martin Zed many years ago.
