you may wanna chec on the solutions they use as my mate reckons when you get a frame nickel plated the solutions they use rot the frame from the inside out ,you may wanna flush some oil in it ,my rickman yrs ago had rot were the side stand was as that's the lowest part of the frame,clip ons do look to high :wink:

I'd defo be fitting new coils after all the refurb you've be doing..... old electrics, "what could possibly go wrong" :shock:

I had a Norton 650ss cafe racer with a chromed frame. It got laid up for a few years. When it came to reconditioning it I think all that was left was a skin of chrome.
