Fantastic sunny day today, got up early took my KZ 900 LTD for its first ride of the year over to the Zed Shed (bolloxs garage) . Lots of work and assembling done, however we discovered that we need a few extra bits because even though we bagged up parts carefully some things have gone astray. Milestone reached -Bike now off lift and stands on its own feet!!! With another full day in the Zed Shed next Sunday and hopefully the new pipes and tank set arriving we should be ready to fire her/him up.
clutch cover fitted and installed with a new sight glass and points cover also fitted
Side stand installed and chain and Front spocket fitted, alternator cover sealed and fitted, we dare you to leak!
front wheel with new rim and spokes and of course wearing a new dunlop gold seal tyre
rear wheel, new shocks, sprocket, chain guard, adjusters, rims spokes and gold seal
side view handle bars on we are feeling proud!
side view, what a lovely KZ Ltd in the back ground
l/h switch gear clutch perch and grip fitted
front view, the UK spec master cylinder fitted, back brake and tie rod on
speedo restored and back to zero by Chis Rivett and new idiot light cover and ignition switch fitted.
end of the day were knackered and bike and tucked up for the night
