WTF are you on about? Issues? bodges? A 31 year old bike that didn't even need a re=bore and only had a broken rear brake part and dodgy chain tensioner!!! Didn't even have a rusted out tank, or actually any rust at all. No stripped threads in the head here. Still with it's original cam shells, although a bit worn after 31 years, but probably never undone. Didn't need any engine work. No electrical problems. Original seat with it's origianl cover. Still had everything it left the factory with except the rear mudguard and pipes... WTF are you on about???
This is one of the least problematic restorations I have ever seen on here. Of course after 31 years, if you want to restore it you will have to dismantle and paint it at least, but
READ THE THREAD. Post after post, Paul is saying things like ' still on original bore, just needed a hone, or head was in good condition....etc.
It was me who sold this bike to Paul, and I'm sure he realises he was lucky to get hold of one that hasn't been thrashed all around the around the UK so your just blowing out of your backside - I understand you want to encourage Paul, but just take a look at the pictures at the start of this thread and you go find me one like that! You will be looking a long time indeed.
I source and sell top quality original bikes, not pieced together wrecks and mongrel bikes and wont have shit like that said about anything I have sold. so don't talk crap.
