I now have 2 sets of forks in the garage the ones with the EBC stickers on are gsx1100 good forks and polished wheel 6 pots etc , the only problem was the yokes didn't tighten up onto the forks for me, so i brought a set of 750 zeph forks with a z900 stem pressed in the yokes but never used them as the front end from the zx6r came up so i had the yokes altered and used the usd set, i must sell some parts lol.

Hi sled,
used the triple clamps off the zx6r, i have a man with a lathe and he altered the stem to suit the zed set up, then just added some handlebar clamps to the top and some clock mounts to the bottom, The top yoke wants powder coating but that can wait until later in the year, i have the black zx6 back wheel to put in as well but again i wanted her on the road now so another just in the cold winter, I was all set for the mids meet on Sunday and the clutch plates gave up when i tried to pull off the drive
, so new clutch plates and springs fitted last night
now i just need the rain to stop so i can get out there for a good shake down and adjust.
Cheers Ian.

zx6r back wheel
I was going to fit the zx6r back wheel, but after lots of measuring and the fact that is was off a mono shock bike so the brake set up was all wrong i decided to stick with the back end i have in, had the wheel sprayed for 30 quid, got rid of the bling shocks, i have a problem with the tank you cant see on the photos, the paint is bubbling all the way round the filler point, so i have managed to find a 72/73 paint set that will be going on next weekend while i decide what to do with the tank on the blue set. Anyway just a quick update photo. Any suggestions on a paint set up i was thinking something on the lines of the early paint job but with a twist???

Re: Paint idea - if you like the blue on your current paint, how about the 72/73 style, your blue where the Jaffa/Yellow is on standard.
