time was marching on and the blade wheels just made the job much easier, the front wheel needed a new disc centre making to let the caliper clear the spokes(single disc), and possibly a adaptor bracket from the fork leg, which i'm not a big fan of, i know they can be made to look ok, i just prefer not to need them
of course, chopping the subframe meant chopping up a gulliari 2/4 seat, but needs must, i also didn't like the profile of the hump part of the seat so that got re worked with a ballpene hammer using a workshirt as a beanbag to hit it on . i'm starting to like how it looks
i didn't want to use the standard H**** method of holding the front muddie on, so that seemed like an ideal oppertunity to make a fork brace ' i tried to add similar detail to the pockets in the yokes, make it look like proper front end rather than a disparate collection of parts
a rummage in some boxes unearthed a zx6r tail lightwhich is mounted on the abbreviated subframe under the z650 tail

the blade wheel wants a 20mm spindle while the zxr arm has 28 mm holes so i knocked up a pair of adjuster blocks with sleeves to take up the slop in the slots
then i had to decide on a headlight, headlights always seem the hardest part, i was going to use a v rod light , but then i started looking at pics of racing Zeds and decided a numberboard was what i needed . but i still needed a light , so i made an aluminium plate and fitted a cbr400 light
and mounted it off the bottom of the top yoke

cheers mate
bit more done,
i had thought the engine was all mounted.....till the chain tried to eat the top of the arm ...D'oh, so a new set of engine mounts were knocked up , raising the rear of the motor , nicely sorting out that issue
afraid i'm no the best photographer
then i made a top nut that would fit with the adjustable offset yokes
then it was bodywork on and run it outside for a coupla pics
